STEAM Learning Pods - Saturday Line-Up
Discover the joy of learning during our 2 1/2 hour, either morning or afternoon session every Saturday! This fall, we’re transforming our backyard into a dynamic learning environment where children can explore, create, and grow in a small, personalized group.
Our sessions integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics with real-life demonstrations of how this is relatable to everyday scenarios designed to engage children through hands-on activities, encourage their curiosity and of course…FUN!
Hi there!
I’m Miss Belinda, but my students often call me Miss Bee. As the instructor for our STEAM Learning Pod and a dedicated tutor, I bring a unique background—having transitioned from a business development career in tech to following my passion for one-on-one tutoring in math and science.
My mission? It’s simple: to help you be bold, brave, and curious as we explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, art, and math together.
A lifetime of learning and discovery is just ahead… so let’s dive in!
Our Approach
A fulfilling, enriching experience is what our Learning Pods are all about. We design them to create an open environment to contribute to the conversation, ask any questions, and dream up “what-if” ideas! Topped off with a huge dose of fun where everyone participates from a dynamic blend of activities for every unique STEAM project!

At our learning pod, we believe that the best way to learn is by doing. Our hands-on exploration activities allow children to dive deep into the world of science and technology. From building their own bridges to conduct strength in structures to fascinating experiments with chromatographic spectrum of colors, your child will have the opportunity to explore, create, and innovate. These activities are designed to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ensuring that learning is both fun and impactful.

Creativity is at the heart of our program. We offer a variety of artistic activities that encourage children to express themselves and think outside the box. Whether it's through painting, sculpting, or digital art, your child will have the chance to explore different mediums and techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide them in discovering their unique artistic voice, helping to build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

Mathematics is more than just numbers; it's a way of thinking. Our program includes engaging math activities that make learning math fun and relevant. Through interactive games, puzzles, and real-world problem-solving scenarios, your child will develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts. Our goal is to help children see the beauty and utility of math in everyday life, turning into excitement and curiosity.

Physical activity and learning go hand in hand in our program. We incorporate physics into fun and competitive games like tug-of-war, badminton, and corn hole. These activities not only get kids moving but also teach them fundamental principles of physics such as force, motion, and energy. My son has struggled with math and his self-confidence has plummeted. Miss Belinda did a much better job explaining the concepts than his school book did, and used colored pencils which really appealed to his artistic side. My son felt so much more confident after just one session!

Her teaching style is unique in that she teaches multiple skills at the same time, for instance she gives my 6 year old math word problems which helps with reading skills, comprehension and math all in one.
